  • visit The Maid's Head, where CCTV is in operation.

We only use your information for the purpose for which it was provided, to operate and protect our business, or where we have another lawful reason to use it. We do not sell your personal information.

Table reservations

Online table reservations are provided through ResDiary.

When you make a reservation, information such as your name, contact details, booking date and time, party size and any information you include with your booking may be processed so that we can manage your reservation.

ResDiary provides the reservation service on our behalf and also has its own privacy information explaining how it handles personal data.

Mailing list

If you choose to join our mailing list, we may use your name and email address to send you news, events, offers and other information about The Maid's Head.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

CCTV

CCTV is in operation at The Maid's Head for the safety and security of our customers, staff and premises and for the prevention and detection of crime.

Access to recordings is restricted, and recordings are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary. Where appropriate, footage may be provided to the police, insurers or other relevant authorities.

Cookies and our website

Our website is built using Squarespace, which uses certain cookies that are necessary for the website to operate correctly and securely.

We do not currently use Google Analytics or the Meta/Facebook Pixel for visitor tracking or advertising.

Our website also uses third-party services, including ResDiary for table reservations and Google Maps for location information and directions. These services may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with them.

Where your consent is required for optional cookies, you can accept or reject them using the cookie controls provided on our website.

You can also control or delete cookies through your web browser settings.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet any legal, accounting, insurance or other legitimate business requirements.

Sharing your information

We may share personal information with trusted organisations that provide services necessary to run our website and business, such as our website, booking and mailing-list providers.
