Join us for a special East Meets West evening, bringing together flavours and inspiration from Asian cuisine.

Here’s the twist: £20 gets you a place at the table — then, after you’ve eaten, you decide what you think the experience was worth and make a donation towards our village Christmas tree.

Thursday 15 October | 6.30pm | £40 per person

Join Jamie for a relaxed and sociable hands-on cookery evening.

He will take you through the techniques of making fresh ravioli and a sophistic souffle for dessert before it’s your turn to get involved and make the dishes yourself.

Enjoy what you’ve made and have a glass of whatever you fancy to go with it.

Wednesday 28 October | 7pm | £5 per person

Get your team together for a special Quiz & Curry Night in aid of our village Christmas tree.

Expect plenty of questions, plenty of laughs and, of course, a good curry to keep those brain cells working.

Entry is £5 per person, with the opportunity to make an additional donation towards the Christmas tree.

You don’t need to be a mastermind — just bring your cleverest friends!

Friday 30 October | 7pm | £40 per person

An evening for anyone who enjoys good wine and good food — no wine expertise required!

Taste your way through a carefully selected range of wines, each accompanied by a freshly prepared food pairing from our kitchen, created to complement the flavours in your glass.

Along the way, you’ll discover a little more about each wine, why particular flavours work together and, hopefully, find a new favourite or two.

And if you discover a bottle you particularly love, you’ll be able to buy it to take home on the night.

Saturday 31 October | 1pm | £10 per child

Bring the little ones along for an afternoon of pumpkin carving.

We’ll provide the pumpkin and refreshments — they just need to bring their imagination and decide whether their creation is going to be spooky, silly or spectacular!

Can you believe it’s been a whole year?

We’re celebrating one year of The Maid’s Head and we’d love the village to celebrate with us.

We’ll be marking our first birthday with a special day at the pub, raising a glass to the past year and saying a huge thank you to everyone who has eaten, drunk, celebrated, quizzed, chatted and supported us along the way.
